Jimmie L. Keiser, age 92 of Marengo, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2024, at Rose Haven Nursing Home in Marengo. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cards and memorials may be sent to the family in care of Kloster Funeral Home, 298 W Washington St., Marengo, Iowa 52301.

Jimmie Lee Keiser was born February 10, 1932, in South English, Iowa, to Iva Keiser. He grew up in South English, graduating from the local high school. Jimmie served in the United States Army for 2 years. He returned home and was united in marriage to Cynthia Wadden on April 9, 1955, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. The couple made their home in rural Marengo. Jimmie was employed by Amana Refrigeration for 42 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He and Cindy raised elk for 30 years. He also enjoyed frequent trips to Colorado, and bus trips.

Jimmie is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Cindy; three sons, Kim (Joyce), Terry (Mona), and Randy; five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother Iva and a grandson Nicholas.
