Jimmie L. Shannan
Jimmie L. Shannan, 68, of Fairfield, died at 6:10 a.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2001, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 11, at the Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield with the Rev. Paul Katsion officiating. Cremation will follow the funeral with burial at a later date. Visitation will begin Thursday, May 10 with family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials have been established to New Tribes Mission or Faith Baptist Church.
