Joan Hotopp
Joan Hotopp, 84, of Washington, died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009, in the McCreedy Home in Washington, following declining health.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, at Rose Hill Memorial Garden Cemetery in Marshalltown. Visitation will begin at noon Friday at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington where the family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. A memorial has been established to Lending Hands of Washington.
Mrs. Hotopp was born June 20, 1924, in rural Thornburg, the daughter of Sidney and May (Higgins) Moore.
