Joan Hutchcroft

Joan J. Hutchcroft, age 81, of Washington died Wednesday, Aug. 13, at Halcyon House in Washington after declining health.

Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 17, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home, with family present from 5 to 7 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 18, at the United Methodist Church in Washington with the Rev. Julie Poulsen officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m., at Kossuth Cemetery in rural Mediapolis.

She was born on Oct. 11, 1926 in Prairie City, the daughter of Ralph and Celeste Graham Jones. On May 30, 1948, she married Edward Hutchcroft in Burlington.
