Joan M. Mitchell-Boyd (Six), 87, formerly of Fairfield, died Aug. 22, 2020.

She was preceded in death by parents, Mildred and Everett Six; husband, Raymond Boyd; former husband, Ervin Mitchell; brother, James Six; and nephew and nieces.

She is survived by children, Paula Mitchell, Perry Mitchell (Pam) and Patty Mitchell; and grandchildren, Paul Freelend, Michael Freelend, Melissa Freelend (Justin Witte), Andy Mitchell, Sean Mitchell and Erin Mitchell, Elizabeth Stayer, Patrick Stayer and Deontay Nash.

Funeral service: 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, Bellevue Memorial Chapel, Bellevue, Neb. Interment: Bellevue Cemetery. Honors: Nebraska Nurse Honor Guard
