Joanna Ruth Martin

BRIGHTON - Joanna Ruth Martin, 79, of rural Brighton, died Monday, Dec. 15, 2008, in the Washington Care Center in Washington.

      Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19, in the Gould Funeral Home in Brighton with the Rev. Sallie Graves officiating. Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery in Richland. Visitation will begin in the funeral home at 4 p.m. Thursday, where the family will be present from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Brighton Volunteer First Responders.

      Mrs. Martin was born Sept. 1, 1929 north of Richland, the daughter of Lewis and Margaret (Spanier) Krewson. She married Robert Martin on Sept. 11, 1948 in Washington.
