Joanne Carol Foss Hendrickson

Joanne Carol Foss Hendrickson, 73, of Washington, died Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at her home following an extended illness.

    Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 3, at the United Presbyterian Church in Washington with the Rev. Bob Wollenberg officiating.  Burial will be in the Columbus City Cemetery in Columbus City.  Visitation will begin at noon Thursday at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials have been established to the United Presbyterian Church in Washington or to Hospice of Washington County.

    Mrs. Hendrickson was born Sept. 13, 1935, in Columbus City, the daughter of August H. and Evelyn (Allen) Foss.  She married Dick Hendrickson on July 3, 1954.
