Joanne Davidson

Joanne Y. Davidson, 71, of Donnellson, died at 5:35 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2004, at Park Place in Mt. Pleasant.

      The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 24 at Hofbauer-Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home, with the Rev. Judy Holcomb officiating. Burial will be in Primrose Cemetery in Primrose. Visitation will be from noon to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23 at the funeral home with family present from 6 to 7:30 p.m. A memorial has been established.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda and her husband Michael Bennett of Donnellson; four sons, Robert W. and his wife Janis Davidson of Donnellson, James E. Davidson and Roger H. and his wife Dinah Davidson, all of Quincy, Ill., and Dale A. and his wife Danielle Davidson of Mt. Pleasant; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Virginia Lyon and Margurite Ellis, both of Fort Madison.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
