John A. Randall

      PLEASANT PLAIN - John A. Randall, 70, of Pleasant Plain died Friday, Jan. 5, 2007 in the Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

      Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 8 in the Pleasant Plain Friends Church with the Rev. Stan Bauer officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Plain Friends Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Sunday in the Gould Funeral Home in Brighton, where the family will be present from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Brighton Volunteer First Responders or the Pleasant Plain Friends Church.

      Mr. Randall was born Oct. 8, 1936 in Keokuk, the son of John and Olive Joy (Simpson) Randall Sr. He married Phyllis C. Williams on June 27, 1964 in Memphis, Mo.
