John Benedict Kuntz

John Benedict Kuntz, 96, of West Burlington, died at 9:40 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.

      The funeral service was at 10:30 a.m. today at Ss. Mary and Patrick Catholic Church in West Burlington, with the Revs. Ken Kuntz and Jerry Stouvenel officiating. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery. A memorial has been established to Ss. Mary and Patrick Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife; a son, the Rev. Ken Kuntz of Iowa City; two daughters, Mary Rosenberg of Burlington, and Carol Kuntz of West Burlington; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Joseph Kuntz of Mt. Pleasant.

      He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and two brothers.
