John C. 'J.C.' Herbert
John C. "J.C." Herbert, 81, of Washington, died Tuesday, May 10, 2005, at Washington County Hospital, following declining health.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 12, 2005, at United Methodist Church in Washington, with the Rev. Julie Poulsen officiating. Burial will be in Allerton, at a later date. There will be no visitation. A memorial has been established for United Methodist Church. Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington is handling the arrangements.
Mr. Herbert was born Sept. 4, 1923, in Oregon, Mo., to Lee and Eva (Castilow) Herbert. On Sept. 15, 1945, he married Alice L. Sinclair.
