John D. Forbes

John D. Forbes, 56, of Conesville, died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2008, in his home in Conesville.

      Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sep. 13, in the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services with Jay MacEachern officiating. Burial will be in the Conesville Cemetery. Following the committal service, a time of food and fellowship will be held in the Conesville Civic Center. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established.

      Mr. Forbes was born Sept. 21, 1951, the son of James and Doris (Mitchell) Forbes. He married Cinthia Crafton on Sept. 16, 1978 in Conesville.
