John E. Bazel August 4, 1909 - November 16, 2003
John Evertt Bazel, 94, of Gerald, Mo., formerly of Leslie, Mo., died on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2003, in Sullivan, Mo.
The graveside service will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20 in Wapello Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Midlawn Funeral Home in Union, Mo. A memorial has been established for Evergreen Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Ken Salzwedel of Iowa; two daughters, Janice Hoehle of Iowa and Elaine Gurda of Arizona; and 13 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, a great-granddaughter, two brothers and two sisters.
