John F. Kauffman
KALONA-John F. Kauffman, 67, of Kalona, died Saturday, June 5, 2004, at University Hospitals in Iowa City, of cancer.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 8, at Kalona Christian Fellowship Church in Kalona, with the Rev. Larry Rediger and the Rev. Shawn Powell officiating. Burial will be in Sharon Hill Cemetery in Kalona. Visitation began at 2 p.m. today, at Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona, with family present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A general memorial fund has been established.
Mr. Kauffman was born on May 22, 1937, near Wellman, to Chester and Catherine (Clingdanel) Kauffman. On June 18, 1958, he married Carolyn Miller in Iowa City.
