John Gilbert 'Gib' Hollingsworth
OTTUMWA - John Gilbert "Gib" Hollingsworth, 83, of Ottumwa, died Jan. 24, 2006, in the Vista Woods Care Center.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, at Reece Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Hornback officiating. Cremation will follow the services. Inurnment will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial has been established for the Alzheimer's Association.
Mr. Hollingsworth was born Jan. 7, 1923, near Ollie to Leslie "Pat" and Edna Mae (Sheppard) Hollingsworth. He married Marjorie "Marge" Estes, Feb. 9, 1944. She preceded him in death in 2005.
