John H. Vincent
WELLMAN - John H. Vincent, 75, of Wellman, died Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2005, at Windmill Manor in Coralville, following a brief illness.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 5, at Powell Funeral Home in Wellman, with the Rev. Nick Adam officiating. Burial will be in Wellman Cemetery, with military rites accorded. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the Wellman library or Wellman Senior Center.
Mr. Vincent was born on July 18, 1930, near Washington, to J. Homer and Myrtle E. (Booth) Vincent. He married Shirley Schwaigert on June 22, 1957, in Iowa City.
