John J. Sanderson

John Joseph Sanderson, 50, of Arbela, Mo., formerly of Johnstown, Colo., died Wednesday, March 19, in Kahoka, Mo.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at Evangelical Cemetery in Donnellson, with the Rev. Gerald Day officiating.

A memorial has been established. Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home and Crematory in Donnellson is assisting with arrangements.

He was born May 31, 1957 in Ft. Madison, the son of Harry and Doris Dawdy Sanderson.

He was a truck driver, owner and operator, and attended Arbela Baptist Church.

He is survived by his special friend, Elizabeth Montgomery of Arbela; three brothers, Terriray Sanderson of Ft. Madison, Gerry Sanderson and his wife Kristy of Greeley, Colo, and Jay Sanderson and his wife Kim of Ft. Madison; and six sisters, Linda Daughters of Hamilton, Ill., Sherry Hamilton of Des Moines, Sue Sanderson of Donnellson, Sandra Sanderson of Keokuk, Bonnie Hernandez of Adel, and Jayne Courtney and her husband Roger of Denver, Colo.

His parents preceded him in death.
