John Joseph Schantz
WAPELLO - John Joseph Schantz, 67, of Wapello, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007, in his home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, in the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home in Wapello with the Rev. Scott Smith officiating. Burial will be in Wapello Cemetery. Friends may call from noon to 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Masonic services will be held at 5:45 p.m. by the Washington Lodge. A memorial fund has been established.
Mr. Schantz was born Aug. 27, 1940, in Wapello, the son of Dillon D. and Margaret "Peg" (Edmondson) Schantz. He married Karen Trier on Dec. 28, 1962.
