John ?JR? Jameson
John ?JR? Jameson, 66, of Des Moines, formerly of Ottumwa, died Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.
A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Reece Funeral Home in Ottumwa. Burial will be in Batavia Cemetery in Batavia.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the family present from 5-8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
Survivors include his wife, Dixie Jameson; two daughters, Cecelia Hopwood of Ottumwa and Jamie Jimenez of Apple Valley, Minn.; two sisters, Mary Ann Widmar and Betsy Melchiori; and two brothers, Jim Jameson and Mike Jameson.
