In celebration of the life of John Kessell, there will be a New Orleans Second Line Parade into Elm Grove Cemetery. Gather no later than 2:40 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2022, at the Washington High School parking lot. Hats and parasols are a tradition but not required. Feel free to follow the Jones limousine into the cemetery if you don't wish to march. (If inclement weather, we will meet at the gravesite.) From there, please proceed to Wooden Wheel Vineyards, 1179 Hwy. 92, Keota, Iowa. There will be time to remember John with a memory, eat delicious food by Dodici's, drink and enjoy the music of Christopher's Very Happy Band followed by a jam. So bring your ax. Remembering John will be something we will all do along this path of life, but sharing time with other who love him is priceless. If you loved John, please come.
