John M. Carlson
John M. Carlson, 57, of Mankato, Minn., died unexpectedly Monday, Aug. 13, 2007 in Mankato.
The funeral service will be Friday, Aug. 17, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Mt. Union United Methodist Church, with Rev. Sue Cubbage officiating. Following the service, cremation will be accorded. The family will meet with friends on Thursday, from 5-7 p.m. at the Honts Funeral Home in Winfield.
The son of Myron "Mike" and Martha (Johnston) Carlson, he was born Aug. 18, 1949 in Mt. Pleasant. On June 17, 1978 he married Renate Konitzer in Iowa City. He was a 1967 graduate of the Winfield-Mt. Union High School.
