John Mitchell

John Mitchell, 73, of Mt. Pleasant, died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005, at Arbor Court.

      Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, at the Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. A celebration of his life will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 25, at the Trenton United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Wayne Township Cemetery near Olds. The Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant is in charge of the arrangements. A memorial has been established to fund a chairlift for the Trenton United Methodist Church where Mr. Mitchell was a member.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley; daughters, Rebecca Turney of Park Hills, Ky., Cynthia Bell of Boone and Marie Mitchell of Richmond, Ky.; seven grandchildren, one great-grandson, a half-brother and a brother-in-law.
