John A. Morrison, 80, of Letts, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2019. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 1st at the Grandview Community Bible Church. Following the service, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the church. A memorial has been established at the funeral home in John's name. John Arnold Morrison was born on November 2, 1938 in Crawfordsville, Iowa, the son of John and Wilma (Messenger) Morrison. John graduated from Washington High School and proudly served his county in the United States Navy. On September 7, 1963, John was united in marriage to Kathryn Allender in Washington.

John will be deeply missed by his wife, Kathryn of Letts; son, Timothy Morrison of Letts; grandchildren, Skyler, Brandon and Jason Morrison and Stormie Palmer; great-grandson, Elias Morrison; daughter-in-law, Brenda Morrison of Sioux City; sister, Rhonda (Jeff) Plant of Arizona; brothers-in-law, Robert Wagenkencht of Denver and Larry (Joyce) Milliman of Iowa City and several nieces and nephews.
