John R. Williams March 8, 1927 - February 8, 2004

John R. "Bob" Williams, 76, of Trivoli, Ill., died on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2004 at the Methodist Medical Center in Peoria, Ill.

      The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 14 at the Anderson-Sedgwick Funeral Home in Farmington, Ill. with the Rev. Joe Richard officiating. There will be no visitation. The body has been cremated. Memorials have been established to Trivoli Rescue Squad or American Cancer Fund.

Survivors include three sons, Bruce and his wife Sylvia Williams of Dallas, Texas, Craig and his wife Marge Williams of Chillicothe, Ill., and Bryan and his wife Sandi Williams of Trivoli, Ill.; a daughter, Linda and her husband Steve Skaggs of Trivoli; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

      He was preceded in death by his parents.
