John R. Wright

      John R. Wright passed after a brief illness at the age of 93 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

      Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. Monday October 15, 2007 at the First Church United in West Liberty with Rev. Al Zimmerman officiating. Burial will be in the Rest Haven Cemetery, West Des Moines. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until service time at the Church on Monday. Memorials may be made to the First Church United. The Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty is in charge of arrangements.

      John was born in Hersher, Illinois on November 20, 1913, to Floyd and Grace Wright. He married Eloise A. Mountain January 29, 1938.
