John Richard 'Dick' Wiley

      John Richard "Dick" Wiley, 68, of Washington, died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2005, at University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City, following a lengthy illness.

      Celebration of Life services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 25, 2005, at United Presbyterian Church in Washington, with the Rev. Kitch Shatzer officiating. Interment will take place in Elm Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon on Thursday at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials have been established for the Student Wellness Fund at Washington Community Schools and United Presbyterian Church in Washington.

      Mr. Wiley was born on Sept. 19, 1936, in Washington, to John Robert and Anna Mabelle (Fleming) Wiley. On June 19, 1960, he married Kathleen May Collins in Tarkio, Mo.
