John Stauffer
John Stauffer, 83, of Wayland, died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2000, at the Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 23, at the St. James Catholic Church in Washington, with the Rev. Dennis Martin officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at the Beatty Funeral Home in Wayland. Visitation will also begin at 5 p.m. Friday at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington, where the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. A rosary service will be held at 7 p.m., and a vigil service at 8 p.m. Burial will be in the Wayland Cemetery. A memorial has been established to the St. James Catholic Church of Washington.
