John V. 'Johnny Van' Smith
KEOTA - John V. "Johnny Van" Smith, 64, of Harper, died Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2002, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Keota, with the Rev. Marty Goetz officiating. Interment will be in St. Elizabeth's Cemetery in Harper. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, where a prayer service will begin at 6:30 p.m. A general memorial fund has been established.
