John V. Redlinger

KEOTA ? John V. Redlinger, 93, of Solon, formerly of Harper,  died Saturday, July 20, 2013, in the Solon Care Center, where he had been a resident since 2009.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 24, at Holy Trinity Parish ? St. Mary Catholic Church in Keota with the Rev. Jim Vrba and the Rev. Charles Fladung officiating. Burial will be at Holy Trinity Cemeteries ? St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Harper, with military rites by Keota VFW Post 4716. Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. Tuesday at Powell Funeral Home in Keota, where there will be a wake service at 4 p.m. A memorial fund has been established for Iowa City Hospice or the Solon Care Center Employee Fund.  Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Keota is handling the arrangements.
