John W. Huston January 31, 1926 - August 15, 2003

      John W. "Jack" Huston, 77, of Los Altos, Calif., died at his home at the Villages in San Jose, on Friday morning, Aug. 15, 2003.

      A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28 at Christ Episcopal Church in Los Altos. A reception will follow in the church parish hall. The graveside service was today at the Christ Episcopal Church Columbarium in Los Altos, with the Masonic Lodge of Los Altos #712 participating. The body has been cremated. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to the Los Altos Community Foundation - Festival of Lights, 183 Hillview Ave., Los Altos, CA 94022 or to the Christ Episcopal Church Music Fund, 10408 Border Road, Los Altos, CA 94022.

      Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Maridee and her husband Bruce Charlton, and Robin and her husband Bill Johnston; three grandchildren; a sister, Ony Yousling; and a brother, Gary Huston.

      He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Duayne and Don; and a sister, Tish Russell.
