John W. Sieren
KEOTA ? John W. Sieren, 92, of Keota, died Friday, Nov. 13, 2009, in the Washington County Hospital in Washington.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 16, at Holy Trinity Parish-St. Mary Catholic Church in Keota with the Rev. Charles Fladung officiating. Burial will be at Holy Trinity Cemeteries-St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Powell Funeral Home in Keota, where there will be a Wake Service at 5 p.m. A general memorial fund has been established.
Mr. Sieren was born Feb. 27, 1917, near Harper, the son of Peter N. and Anna Rose (Hammes) Sieren. He married Verda Adam on May 3, 1939, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Harper.
