John William 'Bill' Cook

John William "Bill" Cook, 71, of Milton, died at 2:20 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, 2007, at Davis County Hospital in Bloomfield.

A service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Justin DeVries officiating. The casket will remain closed. Cremation will follow the service. Burial, with military rites, will be at a later date in Sunnyside Cemetery in Milton.

Family visitation will be from 10:30-11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials to Hospice of Wapello and Davis counties may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 204 North Van Buren St., Milton 52570.

Mr. Cook was born Dec. 25, 1935, in Keosauqua, the son of Daniel and Lena Wiley Cook.
