Jon Porter
Jon Porter, 69, of Mt. Pleasant, died on Sunday, Nov. 19, at his home due to prostrate cancer.
Visitation will be held from 12-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Olson - Powell Memorial Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on the following Tuesday, Nov. 28, at the First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Dr. Jerry Kelly officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be given to the First Presbyterian Church of Mt. Pleasant, or to the Great River Hospice.
