Joseph E. Blodgett

Joseph E. Blodgett, 60, of Mt. Pleasant, died Saturday, April 2, 2005, at his home.

      The graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 6 in Aspen Grove Cemetery in Burlington. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 5 at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel in Mt. Pleasant, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial has been established to Hospice of Central Iowa.

Survivors include his wife; a brother, Jim Blodgett of Mt. Pleasant; two stepsons, Rodney Rumley of St. James, Mo., and Russell Rumley of Mt. Pleasant; a stepdaughter, Raeleen Durham of Chillicothe, Mo.; and four step-grandchildren and one step-great-granddaughter.

      He was preceded in death by his parents.
