Joseph Edward Gowey
Joseph Edward Gowey, 86, of Wayland, died Friday, Sept. 30, 2011, in Washington County Hospital in Washington.
A celebration of life service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, at Wayland Mennonite Church in Wayland with the Rev. Pam Unruh and the Rev. Kelly Slagel officiating. The body has been cremated. A private burial will be held before the service, at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, at North Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Memorials may be made to North Hill Cemetery or Hospice of Washington County. Beatty Funeral Home in Washington is assisting with arrangements.
