Joseph J. Steffensmeier
Joseph J. Steffensmeier, 42, of Charleston Place, Keokuk, formerly of St. Paul, died at 12:45 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, 1999, at Keokuk Area Hospital after a brief illness.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, at St. James Catholic Church in St. Paul with the Rev. John D. Spiegel officiating. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery. Visitation begins after 4 p.m. Friday at the Link Funeral Home in West Point with a Christian vigil service recited at 8 p.m. Memorials are being established.
