Joseph “Joe” Lee Craff, 55, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023, at home surrounded by his family.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be May 13, 2023, at the VFW starting at 12:00 pm to 4:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family and mailed to Leia Craff, 308 South 15th Street, Fairfield, IA 52556.

Joe was born in Fairfield on January 7, 1968, to Wade Berlin and Nancy Ann (Ramsey) Craff. He married Leia Joan McClaran at Birmingham First Presbyterian Church on May 9, 1992.

Joe worked as a laborer until he became disabled. He was very active and passionate about coaching and following his children’s sports activities while they were in school and as young adults. Joe’s favorite teams were the Iowa Hawkeyes, St. Louis Cardinals, Miami Dolphins and LA Lakers. Some of his outside interests were hunting, fishing, trapping and racing.

Joe will be missed by his wife, Leia of Fairfield; two children, Brittany (Jeff) McAllister and Cody Craff both of Fairfield; one granddaughter, Audrey McAllister; and one brother, Jeff (Justine) Craff of Stockport.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wade and Nancy; and one brother, Timothy Craff.
