Joseph Peterman, Jr.
Joseph "Sonny" Peterman, Jr., 80, of rural Farmington, died Monday, Dec. 22, at the Ft. Madison Community Hospital after a long battle with cancer.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 26, at Croton Cemetery in Croton, with the Rev. Greg Steckel officiating and a flag presentation by the Farmington American Legion.
Memorial has been established for the American Cancer Society. Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home and Crematory in Farmington is assisting with arrangements.
He was born March 26, 1928, in Montrose, the son of Joe and Louise Moore Peterman. On July 3, 1966, he married Rayma Whewell in Kahoka, Mo.
