Joseph S. 'Jay' Meyers
Joseph S. "Jay" Meyers, 86, of rural Farmington, Iowa died Jan. 12, 2006 at Van Buren County Hospital, Keosauqua.
Mr. Meyers was born July 21, 1919 at Martinsburg, MO, the son of Henry and Harriett Gillaspie Meyerpeter.
In 1939 he married Irma D. Smith of Mexico, MO. They were divorced in 1964. In 1966 he married Dawn Potter.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials to Farmington E.M.T.'s or Van Buren County Hospital and other condolences may be mailed to the family at 2810 Belfast Road, Farmington, IA 52626. Arrangements by Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua.
