Josephine B. Turner

Josephine B. Turner, 75, of Farmington, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, at Great River Medical Center in Burlington.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, at Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home and Crematory in Farmington, where the family will be present from 5 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11, at New Hope Assembly of God Church in Farmington, with the Rev. Larry Wallingford officiating. Burial will be at the Greenglade Cemetery in Farmington.

A memorial has been established in her memory.

She was born July 20, 1932, on her parents' farm in Trenton, the daughter of Charles and Mabel Norton Manning. On Dec. 20, 1956, she married Gerald Turner in Keosauqua.

A homemaker, she was of the Christian faith.

She is survived by her husband; one son, Ronnie Turner and his wife Ruth Ann of Farmington; one brother, Rex Manning and his wife Mattie Lou of Bonaparte; one grandson and one great-granddaughter.

Her parents, sister Jessie, brothers Wade Lee, Walter, Donald, and Clifford, and son Kenneth Turner preceded her in death.
