Josephine Rich December 9, 1911 - November 30, 2003

Josephine Rich, 92, of Winfield, formerly of the Olds and Crawfordsville area, died on Sunday, Nov. 30, 2003, at Sunrise Terrace Care Center in Winfield.

      The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 4, at the Olds United Church of Christ with the Rev. Carl and Elaine Vass officiating. Burial will be in the Eicher Cemetery near Wayland. Visitation began at noon today at the Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials have been established to the Eden Project at the Sunrise Terrace in Winfield or to the Olds United Church of Christ.

      Survivors include a son, Keith and his wife Suzanne Rich of Bloomington, Ill.; a daughter, Roberta and her husband Ronald Brown of Lexington, Ky.; and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Richard; and three sisters, Louise Ward, Helen Richardson and Lena Stewart.
