Joshua Edward Wilson, the infant son of Anna Metcalf-Wilson and Aeryn Wilson of Havana, Illinois, passed away at OSF Children’s Hospital in Peoria, Illinois, on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at 10:25 p.m. He was born Wednesday, March 22, 2023.

Joshua is survived by his parents; his grandparents, Shelli Stagers and Chad Hendricks; a great-great grandmother, Marjorie Bauser; and his aunts and uncles, Desiree Bishop, Kaleb Wilson, Kira Hendricks, Shawn Hendricks, J.T. Metcalf, Bree Kisner and Brittany McDermott.

Joshua was preceded in death by his great-grandfathers, Frank Wilson and Rich (wife Pat) Hendricks; and a great-great-grandfather, Dieter Bauser.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg, Illinois. A memorial service will follow at 12 p.m., with Pastor Rick Pierce officiating. Burial will take place at Farmers Point Cemetery following the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to Anna and Aeryn to help offset expenses.
