Joyce B. Martin, 88, formerly of Cambridge and Mt. Pleasant a resident of Allure of Prophetstown, Prophetstown, IL died there on Monday, August 19, 2024. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 23rd at the Cambridge United Methodist Church. Rev. Lisa Unger will officiate. Cremation rites have been accorded. Stackhouse-Moore Funeral & Cremation Services, Cambridge is assisting the family. Memorials may be made to Cambridge United Methodist Church.

Joyce Brown was born December 8, 1935 in Rio, IL the daughter of Harold Gayle Brown and Grace (Dunavin) Brown. She graduated from Orion High School in 1953. She retired from McKay Envelope, Mt. Pleasant, IA.

Joyce was a member of the Cambridge United Methodist Church. She loved to help people, was an avid Elvis fan, had a great sense of humor, a zest for life and especially loved her family.

Survivors include sons, Steven (Jane) Martin, Ankeny, IA, and Tim Martin, Trenton, MO; daughter, Becky (Randy) Driscoll, Davenport, IA; three grandchildren, Mitch (Abby) Driscoll, McKensie (Taylor) Eddy, and Madison (Ryan) Huizer; great grandson, Maddox Driscoll, and her sister, JoAnne Wiegel, Mt. Pleasant, IA

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother and sister-in-law, Gene & Shirley Brown, sister and brother-in-law, Jackie and Bill Butcher, and brother-in-law, Gary Wiegel.
