Judith Ann Marshall, 83,

of Washington, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2020, at

the Washington County Hospital.

Judy was born Dec. 5, 1936, at the Washington County Hospital. She was the daughter of Arthur Lee and Edna Mae (Crone) Edmondson. She graduated from Washington High School in 1955. Judy attended Goodman Theater in Chicago and later Grandview College in Des Moines. She married Willie Marshall and later divorced. They had one son, Drew Arthur Marshall.

Judy loved acting, singing, writing and the arts in general. She was very involved with the Washington Community Theater in which she appeared in several plays. Her working career was cut short when she became a caregiver for both parents at the same time. Judy was a member of the United Methodist Church in Washington.

She is survived by her son, Drew Marshall of Washington, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
