Judith Rose (Whitaker) Harvey, 75, formerly of Fairfield, Iowa, passed away Friday, Jan. 7, 2022, at her home in The Villages, Fla. A Celebration of Life will be held Feb. 19 at a location TBD.

Judy was born Aug. 20, 1946, in Fairfield, Iowa, to Clarence and Louise (Fitzwater) Whitaker. She married John Harvey on June 26, 1965.

Judy graduated from Fairfield High School, Class of 1965. She later went on to get her bachelors degree in accounting from Indian Hills and started her own business, Harvey's Tax and Accounting, which she owned and operated for over 30 years. She enjoyed flower arranging, working in the yard and painting. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her dog, Bentley.

Left to honor Judy's memories are her two daughters, Tammy (Jerry) Parker of Des Moines and Christina (Art) Garrison of Fairfield; three grandchildren, Jaclyn Parker of Des Moines, Danielle (Noah) Jones of Davenport and Justin Garrison of Fairfield; two great-grandchildren, Aeralyn and Seraphyna Jones of Davenport; five bothers, Daniel (Sandy) Whitaker of Arizona, Steven (Nancy) Whitaker, Carl Whitaker, Dwight (Karen) Whitaker and Stuart Whitaker, all of Florida; brother-in-law, Gary Harvey of Fairfield; sister-in-law, Sandy (Roger) Ehrhardt of Fairfield; and many nieces and nephews and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John; her parents; a sister-in-law, Norma Harvey; a niece, Teri Whitaker Balios; and a nephew, Troy Sievers.
