Judith Leanne Slemmons

Judith Leanne Slemmons, 63, of Washington, died Wednesday, March 19, 2008, in the Washington County Hospital and Clinics following a short illness.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 22, in the Brighton First Church of God with Ryan Meader officiating. Burial will be in the Oregon Township Cemetery in Ainsworth. Visitation will begin at noon Friday in the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Brighton First Church of God.

Mrs. Slemmons was born June 15, 1944, in San Francisco, Calif., the daughter of Frank and Jearldine Lea (Dannaher) Trinco. She married James Edward Slemmons on Sept. 20, 1979 in Iowa City.
