Judith M. 'Judy' Ball

      HILLS - Judith M. "Judy" Ball, 65, of Hills, died Sunday, April 2, 2006, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City from complications of diabetes.

      Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m., Thursday, April 6, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hills with the Rev. Louis Leonhardt officiating. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery in rural Hills. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 5, from 4 to 8 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Hills, where a rosary will be said at 4 p.m. and a parish wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. A general memorial has been established.

      Mrs. Ball was born June 28, 1940, in Iowa City, to Alfred and Mary (Delaney) Bulechek. She married James Ball on Oct. 16, 1961, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Iowa City.
