Julia A. Daering

      IOWA CITY-Julia A. Daering, 82, of Hills, died Sunday, Nov. 20, 2005, at Atrium Village in Hills, following a lengthy illness.

      Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 23, at Gay and Ciha Funeral Home in Iowa City. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home. There will be a family gathering and luncheon at United Methodist Church in Washington, following the graveside service. Memorials may be directed to Atrium Village or Hills First Responders.

      Mrs. Daering was born on Jan. 30, 1923, in Washington, to Tom and Mary (Patterson) Harvey. On Dec. 18, 1940, she married Duane Daering in Washington. He preceded her in death in1980.
