Julie A. Lindner-Reid, 48, of Ainsworth, Iowa, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2020

at Mercy Hospital following a short battle with cancer.

Julie was born Aug. 18, 1971, in Portage, Indiana, the daughter of Fred and Linda (Perry) Lindner. She attended school in Colorado and graduated from the University of Maryland. Julie served honorably as a Corpsman in the United States Navy and as a Captain in the United States Air Force. She enjoyed history, genealogy and traveling.

She is survived by her daughter, Amelia Holroyd and fiance, Dakota of North Liberty, IA; son, Liam Reid of Ainsworth, IA; father, Fred Lindner and wife Dee of PA; stepfather, Clarence Unternahrer of Ainsworth, IA; grandmother, Wanda Boyer of Ft. Madison, IA; sister, Jen Lindner-Green and husband Davin of Denver, CO; brother, Mark Lindner and wife Kate of VA; brother, Jared Lindner of PA; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Julie was preceded in death by her mother, Linda.
