June Berneice Goschke

WELLMAN ? June Berneice Goschke, 88, of Wellman, died Monday, Aug. 9, 2010, in the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City.

    Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 12, at the First Baptist Church in Wellman with the Rev. Mark Larson officiating. Burial will be in the Wellman Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Powell Funeral Home in Wellman where the family will greet friends from 4 to 8 p.m. A memorial fund has been established for First Baptist Church and Wellman Heritage Society.

    Mrs. Goschke was born June 1, 1922, near Lockman, the daughter of Lauryon and Tessie (Evans) Newell. She married Amil Gene Goschke on May 29, 1942, in Brownwood, Texas.
